The Most Inconvenient Convenience Store

Known as the most inconvenient convenience store, hanging on the side of a cliff in Hunan’s Shiniuzhai Scenic Area is a small wooden shed selling snacks and drinks to passing climbers. The store is situated 120 meters off the ground and only 2 square meters wide with a single employee inside of it.

The journey to the top takes about 90 minutes to complete, and staff members are responsible for carrying supplies to the store every day. Surprisingly, the prices are quite reasonable and a bottle of water is just 2 rmb, approximately 14 cents.
