This is the only train in the world where passengers will voluntarily wipe down the windows.

Known as one of the most beautiful train rides in China, the Z6811 train runs from Xining to Lhasa and takes around 22 hours to complete.

In preparation for the breathtaking scenery ahead, passengers will wipe down their windows. After traveling through the plains of Xining, the train will cross Qinghai Lake, Kekexili, the Kun Lun mountains, and the Tanggula mountains. If you’re lucky, you might even see Tibetan antelopes or domestic yaks.
