Is the Terracotta Army Made of Real People?

The Terracotta Army is made of real people. Is that true?

With facial expressions as vivid as living humans and no warrior identical to another, this is a question that many have pondered.

And it makes sense, because Qin Shi Huang was known to be a cruel emperor who would bury scholars alive. It’s also true that rich nobles would often have their living servants buried alongside them, so they could be served in the afterlife.

No one knew the truth until one day, a staff member discovered a soldier that was missing a chunk of his chest. It was then that archaeologists finally found that there was no evidence of human remains inside the warriors.

Instead, they discovered that “yellow soil” clay was the primary material used to make the army.

However, there are still an estimated 6,000 warriors that have yet to be excavated, so there’s a possibility we might unearth more secrets in the future.
