Have you ever heard of Bamboo Drifting?

It refers to the act of standing on top of long bamboo poles floating in the water while executing various performances. It originated in Guizhou and was once a mode of transportation in the region's waterlogged areas. Today, it is recognized as a cultural heritage.

Learning this skill takes over a decade of difficult training and countless falls, sometimes into the freezing winter waters.

In order to preserve the tradition, the elders hope that more young people will learn it.
